Chapter two · The breakdown

What the work really looks like.

At our first sit-down we promised a breakdown of what we really need, with examples. This is that page. It's not a contract and not a quote, just the work itself, shown plainly, so our next conversation starts from real specifics.

01 · The weekly rhythm

The shirt work and the socials, week in, week out.

This is the heartbeat of the work, and the part we most want you to see with your own eyes. The shirt work is really two kinds of work, so here they are as two.

Product shots

We provide a printed shirt. You take the photo and build a background that complements it, in the style of the product shots on our Instagram. Usually tied to a trending moment or a holiday coming up. One to two a week.

Original designs

A simple shirt design from a theme we provide. Around one a week.

Social graphics · two a week

Built from content and direction we provide, in the brand's voice. The range runs infographics, product promotions, flyers, posters, carousels, and how-tos. Two a week, and the mix varies.

Real pieces from the range: posts, promos, how-tos.

We write briefs specific enough to get it right the first time, so minimal revision rounds are the norm, not the exception. When something does need a pass, it's a quick one.

02 · Where we'd start

You start with our brand in hand.

We hand you our brand assets up front: logos, colors, type. Use them as the framing for everything you make. How we sharpen them together is a later conversation.

03 · Simple customer requests

The small, direct tasks.

Alongside the weekly rhythm there's a steady lane of small jobs your designers can pick up and knock out. One line each:

Logo design

Simple, clean logo builds for customers who walk in with a name and an idea.

Background removal

Isolating a photo or a graphic so it prints clean on a shirt.

Gang sheet building

A gang sheet is one large print file with many designs arranged onto it, so a whole batch prints in a single run. Building one well is mostly careful layout: fitting the designs efficiently, correct sizes, right orientation.

Example gang sheet layout
A real gang sheet: many designs, one print run.
Cleanup and recreation

Customers often send art that won't print well: low resolution, busy backgrounds, screenshots of screenshots. This lane cleans it up or redraws it into something that prints beautifully.

How this lane works. These sit outside the retainer and are priced per request. Once pricing is settled, we'll be promoting design services to our customers to bring more of this work your way.

04 · The brands and channels

The brands and channels you'd be working across.
