A picture of what we're looking for, how we'd like to work together, and where this can go. This isn't a contract or a final offer. It's a starting point, so we can talk it through and shape it into something that works for both of us.
Confidential. Please keep this between us for now.
We run a small, growing group of companies, and every one of them needs design work. Consistently, not once in a while. Social graphics, flyers, shirt designs, brand pieces. It never really stops.
So we're not looking to hire out a single project. We're looking for a design team to become our design partner: to handle our ongoing design work, white-labeled under our brands, and to grow right alongside us as we scale.
We think that's a genuinely good fit for a studio building a network of designers, because the hardest thing for a growing design shop to lock in is steady, predictable work. That's exactly what we have to offer.
Here's the picture, because it's probably more than most people put in front of you in a first conversation. Design plugs into all of it, which is why we need a partner and not a freelancer for the next job.
The company you'd contract and work with, and where the agreement lives. Its own design needs are lighter today and grow as we put more proposals and content in front of people.
fulfill4me.comA custom apparel and print brand. This is the consistent, everyday design work. Posts, marketing pieces, shirt designs, and simple customer requests. Your anchor from day one.
3dottees.comA social and brand platform. Recurring social and blog graphics, plus a set of branded templates to build once and reuse.
yoursociallotus.comAdditional companies come online over time, and design comes with each one. The relationship is built to expand as we do.
The clearest, most immediate work is 3Dottees, so here's the shape of it. Volumes are a starting point; we'll write the real scope down together before we begin.
Around two post graphics a week. We provide the text and the brand direction; you bring the design.
Flyers and posters as they come up, designed so they double as post, newsletter, and blog images. One asset, several uses.
Simple, clean shirt designs, nothing that needs complex illustration. For every design, we print one and just need a quick photo of the finished shirt for our catalog (the shirt on its own, no model), and the shirt is yours to keep.
The everyday asks: a birthday shirt, a photo with some text, "something along these lines." Fast, straightforward turnarounds.
We'd love help bringing a consistent look across our sites, worked into the monthly flow a piece at a time rather than all at once. Steady work for you, growing consistency for us.
Your Social Lotus brings similar recurring social and blog graphics, plus reusable branded templates. FULFILL4ME stays lighter at first and grows as our outreach ramps up.
We'd rather start focused, get the rhythm right on the core work, and expand from a place of trust than pile everything on at once.
Once we've found our rhythm, several lanes open up, all of them more work and more revenue for your team.
As we scale and add companies, more of that design flows to you. The steady base only gets steadier.
Our companies' customers ask for design all the time. A custom piece for a 3Dottees customer, a branding package through Your Social Lotus. When they do, we send it your way. You do the work and keep the fee; we take only a small broker fee for bringing it to you (our thinking: a flat few dollars on smaller jobs, a small percentage on larger ones). You get the work, the money, and the relationship. As we promote design across our companies, this channel grows on its own.
The more complex, higher-value custom design opens up as we get to know how your team works and what you love to take on.
And beyond design. We also have real, ongoing operational work your wider network could take on, like product listing and catalog work for our storefront (images, descriptions, and listings at volume). Steady work for your whole team, not only your designers. If that's useful to you, it's on the table too.
You get the one thing that's hardest for a growing studio to lock in: consistent, predictable work, plus a partner who's actively working to send more your way. We get a design team we can rely on and grow with, and a relationship we can build in person, not over a ticketing queue.
This page is a working draft, meant to give you time to look it over together and come to our meeting with real thoughts. We're aiming to begin in roughly 60 days and use that runway to shape the details into an agreement that works for everyone.
Looking forward to talking it through.
